“The Strikingly Graphic Pueblos Blancos of Andalucia, Spain”
March 19-26
In March the temperatures are in the low 80’s. The tourists are nowhere to be found. But what is there is the very essence of this very unique part of Spain. With our “home” being near Mijas just miles from the coast, it is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area including the dramatic cities of Ronda and Granada.
In addition to its world famous “white villages”, Andalucia will provide us with ample subjects to help further our confidence in manipulating light and capturing motion. Above all, Andalucia’s countryside is stunning. It remains today as one of Europe’s premier locations for honing one’s landscape skills.

Typical Accommodations
Your “home” will be a traditional white-washed house just outside of Mijas. It is beatifully restored. We have chosen it for its character as well as its location. It is minutes from coastal fishing ports and within easy driving distance to our other field locations in Ronda and Granada.
