"Magical Mountains and Mystical Deserts" - Southern California
January 22-29
In late January... the deserts of Southern California are alive with color, the mountain peaks have a coating of snow and the dunes continue to shift with the wind. From our home base in Palm Springs, we will sojourn each morning to deep canyons once inhabited thousands of years before by Native Americans, the high desert of the surreal Joshua Tree National Park, the nearby snow-capped San Jacinto Mountains, the banks of the still waters of the Salton Sea and the visually awesome “farm” of thousands of modern white giant windmills.
Typical of “Yes, I shot that!” Photography Workshops, this venue is “content-rich”. Our specially chosen diversity of subject matter is key in presenting varied lighting conditions in order to learn and to reaffirm our mastery of the camera’s mechanics, lens choice and composition.
